About Me

Born in Amritsar and raised in the hill town of Shimla, I pursued Mechanical Engineering from Chandigarh. I never imagined a life at sea — until a friend, on a whim, submitted an application on my behalf. The opportunity turned real, and my late mother’s wish encouraged me to set sail.

In my early years at sea, slower cargo operations gave me a chance to explore ports across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. As a Chief Engineer, I worked on ship revivals and takeovers from Miami to Dubai. Later, I spent nearly a decade in China supervising shipbuilding projects on shore.

Writing, however, has always been my soul’s anchor. From playful verses in childhood to humorous college poems and now prose, blogs, and novels — words have been my lifelong companions. Today, I gather all that I’ve written, and all that I still hope to write, under one platform.
